Andrew is a people first corporate lawyer, who takes a keen interest in the operations of his client’s business, focusing his practice on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, from incorporation through to acquisition. With a knack for creative problem solving, and the ability to think both from a legal and commercial perspective, Andrew connects with the entrepreneurial spirit of his clients.
Andrew’s practice involves advising his clients on negotiating and navigating M&A transactions, reorganizations, commercial leases, start-up and organizing maters, employment concerns, and a wide range of related corporate transactions. He has a client base that spans from early stage start-ups through to multi-generational brick and mortar business; from solo entrepreneurs to multi divisional, cross-border corporations.
Andrew values the personal relationship he has with his clients, and the opportunity to understand their needs. He is always looking to provide innovative and creative solutions that suit his clients’ best interests in the constantly changing modern legal landscape.
Background and Associations
Andrew was called to the bar in Ontario in September of 2018. He holds both an LL.B. from the University of York in England, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Prior to completing his law degree, Andrew worked for two years as an account manager in a large logistics company in Toronto. He has experience working for both some of the largest international law firms in the world, and with one of Canada’s largest property developers.
Andrew is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario as well as a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations.
Outside of work, Andrew is passionate about travel (28 countries and counting!) He loves cooking, politics, reading, and sports. He plays hockey, golf, and softball. He is a diehard Toronto sports fan, but loves Liverpool in the EPL.
