Simon Valleau

Simon Valleau graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa Law School. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1991 and has over 20 years experience in the practice of law.

Simon was a sole practitioner until 2002 when he joined this firm.

Simon’s primary practice is in the area of family law. His family law litigation practice includes disputes regarding parenting, support, property issues and divorce. Simon engages in the negotiation of domestic contracts, cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and separation agreements.

Simon has found that his outlook and approach remains fresh, innovative and involved with a broader range of practice areas. In addition to family law, Simon litigates real estate, commercial, corporate and employment matters. Simon has a vibrant practice in construction litigation on behalf of lien claimants, general contractors and property owners.

Simon’s approach is to make use of all the available tools in a modern practice of law to reach a satisfactory resolution of complex issues. These include disclosure, negotiation, the court process and alternative dispute resolution techniques.
